My dream is to become a very famous and significant person
renowned throughout the whole wide world. Not by being a pop
star, a politician or an entertainer… My dream is to find
the cure to a supposedly incurable disease cancer and save
millions of people all over the world. For generations to
come I will be a very important person in medical history.
There is no greater thrill than saving the lives of innocent
people. Lots of people all over the world are being
diagnosed with cancer every year and die because there is no
cure. When I heard about this fatal disease raging
throughout the world I was very sad and then disappointed
that there was no cure, yet. So instead of thinking that
someone will find a cure I took it into my own hands to one
day find the cure to cancer. Not only do the cancer patients
suffer terribly but also so do their families, relatives and
friends. Cancer kills many people ever year but effects many
more. Experiencing the loss of loved one due to cancer you
should realize that many more people out there are suffering
the loss of a loved one too.
Throughout the world people suffer from different types of
cancer, depending in which country they live in depends on
what cancer is common. Here in Australia, skin cancer is
very common due to the fact that we are close to the ozone
layer’s hole means that the sun’s ultra violet rays cause
damage to our vulnerable skin. Around the area of Chernobyl
and other area where nuclear disasters have occurred, people
have leukemia, birth defects, different types of
abnormalities and other types of cancer. This is because
nuclear power stations around that area have slowly been
releasing radiation over the years and have effected many
generations of people, animals and plants as well. In
Hiroshima and Nagasaki due to the atomic bomb blast which
killed many innocent lives and is still doing its damage.
Many people now suffer from leukemia a disease of the blood.
The popular and heart felt story of Sadako the Japanese girl
who diagnosed with leukemia and determination of curing
herself by making 1000 paper cranes boosted my ambitions to
save many more people like Sadako. Many types of cancer in
my opinion man made problems, but now it is too late to
correct these mistakes but it’s worth a try. There’s no one
we can blame but the whole human race because some day in
our lives we would have made a contribution to the
beginnings of some type of cancer.
Finding the cure to cancer maybe a very painstakingly long
process and it may not be possible but it is definitely
worth a try because this may be one type disease, which is a
threat to the human race. Not only are the humans in danger
many animals and plant species are under threat of
extinction. The truth behind cancer is very hard to believe
that one-day life on Earth could be impossible.
Many pharmaceutical companies are paying big bucks to find
the cure to cancers using western medicine. My belief is
that these western medicines will have side affects, which
will probably make problems bigger. Probably the best way to
find a cure to cancer is naturally using herbs and other
natural products.

Mr. Kneipp stated that herbs which could of cured people
probably grew on their graves this could be correct but no
one has tested this, so any herb species could be the cure
to cancers. So in my opinion I think that the cure to cancer
would be much healthier if it was a natural cure.
Rudolf Bruess was a man who found a natural cure to cancer
although many people don’t use his cure he sold thousand of
copies of his book ‘Bruess’ cure to cancers’ and has saved
some lives. His cure consisted of carrot juices, sage teas
and other natural mixtures. These natural mixtures seem to
be the way to find a cure to cancer but scientist need to
run tests and prove this. This is the type of way I hope to
cure cancer, through natural products.
People can help boost funding by buying Daffodils on
Daffodil Day. Many scientists throughout the world are
trying to find a cure, make a contribution to show their
efforts are not in vain. Every contribution counts and I
give my support as well and hope one day before it’s too
late some body will find the cure to cancer. And I hope that
some body will be me.
My dream is to find the cure to cancer and save many people
suffering terribly. Just donating an organ and saving one
life is one big thing but imagine saving the lives of many
people for generations to come. People would value me as a
very important person in history. Being famous and talented
is really mad and cool but it doesn’t last like the feeling
of saving that many lives from a supposedly incurable
disease. With ever ones help finally some day the fatal,
dangerous, supposedly incurable disease of cancer will be
beaten.
One day I hope to hear as a ghost if there is such thing my
great grand child say to a friend ‘ You know who my great
grand mother was?’
‘No,’ the other child would say uninterestedly.
‘ She was Christina Samarasekera the lady who found the cure
to cancer!’
Oh my gosh, she’s my hero cause I had cancer as well… ’The
child would reply dreamily.
It would be a dream come true, but not every ones wishes are
granted only those with strong faith and determination to
achieve their dreams.
